I would also like to thank everyone who helped with the party.

  • Betsy that cake was beautiful!
  • Ben, Heidi, & Sarah, thank you for working so hard to get the pictures to me; I think the movie turned out great.
  • Thank you to Margaret, Billy, & Joey for sharing your musical skills (it sounded wonderful!)

Thanks again everyone.

Daniel is 5 Months

Hey sorry that this is late but because the 4 month one went out so late I had to wait till something new happened.
So anyways Daniel now weights 16lb 8oz and is 26" tall. His new favorite thing is to roll over, although he gets stuck on his tummy and gets very mad when he cant get back. I think it is kinda funny to watch. So we let him try to figure it out for a few min and then help him get on his back, just so he can do it all over again...
Daniel has also discovered that toys are really fun to chew on especially the ones at the store. On Monday I went grocery shopping and Daniel was with me. He started to get kinda fussy so I told him that he had to wait till we were done and then he could have a bottle. So he kinda settled down. Until we got in to the baby isle... And as i was getting the cans of formula he started to laugh and just smile. So i looked up and saw this toy on the shelf, it had big red ears and a black nose and when you pull his tail it vibrates. So i picked it up and said "Hey what do you think of this" and he started to laugh. I guess that i put it to close to his face cause before i could move it he stuck it in is mouth. So we had to buy it we call him Paches Daniel loves him although he makes Daniel really excited so Paches has to stay in the living room not in Daniel's bed.
It is so much fun to watch him grow and to discover new things. I cant wait to see what he decides to do next.
Well hope that all is going well for all of you and will talk more later.

Love Adam Betsy & Daniel

IT’S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm so excited cause I didn't think our family could produce anything but boys! We are so excited for this cute little girl to come to us! About a month ago I secretly thought it was a girl but I didn't want to be disappointed if they told me it was a boy. So anyway we are excited. He was 100% that it was a girl but will check for me again next month cause I told him what happened with Aidan. But this ultra sound didn't look anything like Aidan's! There was DEF no 3rd leg! We are really excited for our little Kennedy Jo! That's our name for now but we both really like it!

Wedding

As many of you probably know, we are planning a "vow renewal" ceremony for Mom & Dad as their 25th wedding anniversary is this month. Of course this will take place on their anniversary, September 24. We are hoping to be able to use their church building and have Pastor Dave officiate. Now onto the reason for my post; we are all going to have to pitch in/work together to get things organized.

Betsy has offered to make a cake I was wondering if she and Gabi could work together to arrange any other refreshments (drinks, utensils, plates etc) for the event.

I was also wondering if Adam might be able to make some invitations (similar to the ones you had for your wedding) I don't think we will need very many but they should be sent pretty soon. Also I need help in thinking of people to invite.

I am going to make a slideshow/movie thing that can be shown. If anyone has suggestions for music to use on the video, let me know.

I think it would be nice if Margaret could sing (the one you sang for Josh & I would be good. Perhaps you could have sister Braithwaite play piano for you?)

I was also thinking that the boys could play guitar. Either perform a number at the ceremony or you could play at the reception like you have done before.

Betsy is in charge of talking to Pastor Dave & arranging for use of the building (can you find out what kind of tables they have so that I know what to do for tablecloths?)

Sarah & I will be in charge of decorations along with anyone who has any ideas or suggestions.

Please let me know if you will or won't be able to do these things, or if I am forgetting anything.
